COVID-19 Travel Impact

Your holiday may be on hold, but don’t stop dreaming about it

Many tourists have already put off traveling abroad but we know that, for many, this isn’t out of fear of catching the virus (well, not most, anyway), but because people fear losing money on booked flights, accommodation, tours and activities, etc.

We also recognize the increased uncertainty that COVID-19 may be causing in your trip planning. To help you book with confidence, we are offering an exceptional cancellation policy: Until the situation has stabilized, we provide you with the option of a 100% refund on all new bookings, for cancellations made more than 14 days prior to a tour.

This offer applies to ALL of our small group tour deals in 2020 and 2021 booked and confirmed within this period.

The current crisis is not something that any of us could have predicted, and just like everyone else in the tourism and travel industry around the world, here in Georgia we’re facing dramatic changes.

Adding to the challenge is the fact that local government has introduced strict measures such as a state of emergency and a curfew. Although these restrictions are justified, we have had to stop all our activity.

This is a real force majeure situation, which could force our small travel enterprise to close.

We’re now calling out to everyone who can support our team and our operations to live through this challenging time; and at the same time invest into the future of travel. Invest into your own travel to Georgia and South Caucasus in the future.

We believe that global travel restrictions will be lifted one day. And offering you to purchase a gift card with no expiration, for whenever you or a loved one may travel on one of our tours below. Offer includes our most popular small group tours too.

Or better yet, book your next tour for a random travel date that can be rescheduled or swapped for another tour as often as you like.

We don’t know for sure how much longer the current situation with COVID-19 will last. Travel and tourism is in the midst of a coronavirus crisis, with large-scale events, flights, and countries going into lockdown. Here in Tbilisi, Georgia, we’re facing massive cancellations and future looks a bit uncertain. But we do believe that we will manage to pass the test, and everything will get back to normal.

As a part of the global travel community, we’ve been following recent news incredibly closely. Most importantly, our thoughts are with all those affected, be it directly or indirectly. In particular, we’re working closely with our guides and local partners throughout the country to minimize the disruption to their livelihoods. And our free video Georgia tours from home initiative is aimed at exactly that. To help them sustain themselves during this period.

Georgian authorities are working hard to ensure that tours to Georgia are among first to be available for travelers around the World.

Health and safety measures, as well as local and international tourist’s protection protocols, are being developed. Current plan states that local travel will commence from June 15, 2020. While international arrivals to Georgia will be open from July 1, 2020. Read more
