The current crisis is not something that any of us could have predicted, and just like everyone else in the tourism and travel industry around the world, here in Georgia we’re facing dramatic changes.
Adding to the challenge is the fact that local government has introduced strict measures such as a state of emergency and a curfew. Although these restrictions are justified, we have had to stop all our activity.
This is a real force majeure situation, which could force our small travel enterprise to close.
Required support
Above all, our thoughts are with everyone affected, be it directly or indirectly. In particular, we’re working closely with our guides, drivers and local partners throughout the country to minimize/minimise the disruption to their livelihoods. We are also doing our best now to recover all costs incurred over the last few months, and to settle all refunds requested.
Our fantastic team of 7 guides and 4 drivers were looking forward to the start of the 2020 travel season. The bookings we had for the period of March – August made us sure that their love and passion for Georgia would be rewarded. But everything turned upside down in a matter of days…

How will the donations be spent?
Money received through donations will be spent on our guides and drivers’ minimal fees and wages, our staff members’ salaries, office rent and utilities (although we cannot work in the office, we still have to cover these payments). This will cover the period to July 2020. This is when we believe internal domestic travel within Georgia will resume again.
