Quest Tour Overview

By the end of the 19th century, Tbilisi was a rich, densely populated and fast-growing city. Business moguls, merchants, winemakers and landowners in search for new territories, locked their eyes on Mount St. David. It was here, in the fresh air, along the slopes and on the summit of the mountain, that the wealthiest residents chose to set their family estates, country homes, gardens and parks.

Stories of its famous inhabitants, urban legends, facts and the most fascinating buildings all await you on this Quest tour. And, of course, don’t worry about getting bored since that is not going to happen – our quests and riddles are ready and waiting to meet you along the streets of Mtatsminda.

How It Works

Go to the select quest tour page and fill in the request form. You will need to indicate your desired quest tour date, your name and number of participants.

Number of participants that can take single quest tour at the same time is not limited. So you can take our Quests with your friends, family or colleagues during a lunch break 🙂 But we tested our tours with different group size options and it came out that 4 is the maximum number of people that would feel comfortable solving the quest from the same link.

After receiving your Quest request form our manager will be sending you a secure link for making the payment. When the payment is made you will receive a link to the quest with a one-time password to access it.

Take note of the starting point of your Quest, and meet your party there when you are ready to embark. From there, our instructions will lead you along a route carefully designed to highlight the best parts of Tbilisi. You will need a smartphone or tablet connected to mobile internet.

You may want to bring a water bottle and sun protection if the weather is warm. Wear comfortable walking shoes. You may also want to use your smartphone to look up general knowledge clues or take photographs.

Continue on the Quest at your own pace. You can stop to shop, take photos, pursue detours, or grab a coffee whenever you like. Most of our routes pass a number of great cafes.

Along the way, you’ll be asked to find clues and record them (you may want to open your Notes app on the background). The clues will help you solve puzzles, and the solutions will reveal the address of a surprise destination.

During your Quest, always use designated crosswalks and obey street signs. Agree on a meeting place in case you get separated.

After finishing the Quest you will be provided with options to share your results within your social networks.

Quest Instructions

Receive a link to the Quest and open it on your mobile device.
Go to the indicated starting point location.
Follow instructions and start Quest-ing.
Find clues by answering the questions.
Some answers will require close attention to your surroundings, some answers are hidden in the texts preceding the question.
Pay attention to details!
Make sure your smartphone is charged and connected to the internet and you may want to have a headphones.

     recommends We had a really amazing experience with the Sololaki quest tour, enjoyed the walk and discovered many interesting stories about this beautiful and unique neighborhood. The tasks are challenging and will keep you excited through the whole way. We especially enjoyed the bonus in the middle of the tour, it is definitely a wow effect :) at the end of the quest it was very nice to get a reward in the secret place.
