Apart from this particular train leaving Tbilisi three times a day during Summer season, there are another options like a day Coach or an Express Train that also connect Georgian capital with Kutaisi airport. Kopitnari station can also be reached from Batumi.
- Trains from Tbilisi to Zugdidi will bring you to the major stop-over point on the way to Mestia, in Svaneti region of Georgia. Taking train to Kutaisi will bring you to Georgia’s second biggest city. Kutaisi is a great base destination for day travels to Martvili and Okatse canyons. Or to Sataplia nature reserve.
